Privacy policy

Custom Cookie Supply is a trade name of ZR Creative LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). We run the online store at customcookiesupply.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, where it comes from, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered.

When you pay: payments are handled by Shopify's hosted checkout. Depending on how you pay, they are processed by Shopify Payments (for cards and wallets such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, where offered) or by Amazon Pay. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the payment, such as the amount, the payment method and the last digits of a card. If you use Shop Pay or Amazon Pay, Shop or Amazon keeps your details under its own privacy policy. If our cart page shows a PayPal button, that button loads PayPal's scripts, and PayPal may collect information about your device and browser under its own privacy policy.

When you create an account: if you create an account or sign in, we keep your account details, saved addresses and order history.

When you contact us: if you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. If you use our custom order or wholesale form, we collect your name, email address, business name, the details you send, and any file links you share (for example a Google Drive or Dropbox link). If you email us, we keep your email and our reply.

When you join our email list: your email address and your consent to receive marketing emails.

When you browse: cookies, pixels and similar tools collect device and usage information, such as your browser type, IP address, device identifiers, the pages you view, the products you look at or add to your cart, what you buy, and how you reached our site. These tools come from Shopify. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

From other companies: Shopify and our payment processors tell us whether a payment went through and flag orders that may be fraudulent. USPS tracking tells us where a package is.

Reviews

Our site shows reviews that buyers left on our Etsy shop. For each review we show the rating, the month and year, the review text, and the reviewer's first name, with the last initial when there is one, or "Anonymous" when no name is available or the name looks like a username. We do not show reviewers' full names, usernames or contact details. If you wrote one of these reviews and want your name or review removed from our site, email us.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your order, including order and shipping emails.
  • To reply to your messages and prepare custom order proofs and wholesale quotes.
  • To send marketing emails, only if you signed up.
  • To run, protect and improve our store, and to prevent fraud. Shopify and our payment processors use automated tools to check orders for fraud.
  • To understand how people use our store.
  • To show reviews of our products.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the store:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders, payments and checkout. Shopify's privacy policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
  • Payment processors: Shopify Payments (cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay) and Amazon Pay, to take your payment.
  • Our shipping carrier (USPS), to deliver your order.
  • Service providers that help us run the business, such as email and file-hosting services, under their own privacy terms.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.
  • A buyer of our business, if we sell or transfer the business. The new owner must handle your information in line with this policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools for two things.

To run the store. Shopify sets cookies that keep your cart working, remember your preferences and help secure checkout.

To measure the store. Shopify's own analytics show us visits, pages viewed and sales, in summary form.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics or advertising pixels today. If we add tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel, we will update this policy first and explain how to opt out.

Shopify, and PayPal if our cart page shows its button, may collect information about your activity on our store and on other websites over time, under their own privacy policies. We do not allow any other company to collect it on our store.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the store, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so our store does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

Marketing emails

We send marketing emails only to people who sign up. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, or email us and we will remove you. We will still send emails about orders you place.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as the law requires and as long as we need it for the reason we collected it.

  • Order, payment and tax records: as long as US federal and Florida tax and accounting rules require. This is generally at least 3 years, and up to 7 years for some records.
  • Custom order and wholesale messages: as long as we need them to answer you, handle your request and support your order.
  • Email list details: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only what we need to make sure we do not email you again.

We may keep information longer if the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud.

Where your information is processed

We sell to US addresses only. Shopify and our other service providers may store and process your information in the United States, Canada and other countries where they operate.

Security

Checkout runs on Shopify's encrypted checkout. We limit who can access your information. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you,
  • correct information that is wrong,
  • delete your information or close your account, unless we must keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

To make a request, email hello@customcookiesupply.com. We may ask you to confirm details, such as your order number, so we know the request comes from you. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

US state privacy rights

Some US states, such as California, give their residents specific privacy rights. Many of these laws apply only to businesses above certain size or data thresholds, and we are a small business. Wherever you live in the US, you can make the requests above by emailing us, and we will respond as the law that applies to you requires.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

If we decline a request, you can reply to our answer to ask us to look at it again.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add a new tool or service. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we may also tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
