Description

This shape depicts an open book with visible pages. It is a fitting choice for graduation parties or teacher appreciation events. The rectangular base with curved pages creates a stable cookie that is easy to handle.

Use a 3 to 4 in size for a standard decorated cookie. Write a short message on the pages with royal icing. Choose from 9 colors. Every color costs the same, and Random is the default.

Material and care

Plastic, made to order. Use it with cookie dough, fondant, polymer clay or play dough.

Wash in warm, soapy water before first use and after each use, then towel dry. Keep it out of the dishwasher; very hot water can warp the cutter. Use separate cutters for polymer clay and for food.

I used this to bake almost 100 cookies for a kids' book themed party, for a cookie decorating station. I'm not an experienced baker, and this was my first attempt at anything of the kind.
The form sits comfortably in hand, and is sturdy and easy to use. It cut and imprinted the details very well, cookie after cookie, and the dough didn't get stuck inside the crevices (it was minimal compared to another form I tried). It was also easy to wash and dry. I got the 6in size for extra decorating area.
The cookies came out fantastic, the kids had a blast, and I got a ton of compliments from the parents.

The product itself is well made and sturdy. As noted, it is a 4' inch cookie cutter - across! The height is only 2 inches high, which does not make it a substantial enough cookie for what was intended. [wedding favors]
